Abstract
본 연구는 여자농구지도자들의 코칭지식과 코칭행동, 집단응집력 간에 어떠한 관계가 있는지 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 총 168명의 여자농구선수들을 대상으로 지각된 코칭지식 질문지, 코칭행동 유형, 집단응집력 질문지를 사용하여 타당도와 신뢰도 분석, 기술통계, 이원변량분석, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시한 주요한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코칭지식과 코칭행동의 관계를 분석한 결과, 코칭이론과 훈련방법이 훈련과 지도행동에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤고, 훈련방법과 코칭이론이 민주적 행동에 긍정적 영향을, 시합전략은 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 코칭이론과 훈련방법은 권위적 행동에 부정적 영향을, 사회적지지에는 긍정적 영향을 미쳤고, 코칭이론은 긍정적 피드백에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 코칭지식과 집단응집력과 관계에서 선수이해는 개인-사회에 긍정적 영향을, 집단-사회에 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 코칭이론은 개인-과제, 집단-과제에 모두 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 선행연구와 관련지어 심층적으로 논의하였다.
This study examined the relationship between coaching knowledge and perceived coaching behaviors and team cohesion in female basketball teams. Athletes(N=168) assessed their coaching knowledge using the Coaching Knowledge Questionnire(Chung & Huh, 2006), coach’s leadership style and behaviors using the Leadership Scale for Sports(Chelladurai & Saleh, 1980), and the group cohesion of their team using the Group Environment Questionnire(Kim & Lee, 1990). Multivariate multiple regression revealed a significant relationship between coaching knowledge, coaching behaviors, and group cohesion. Coach’s coaching theory knowledge and training method knowledge have a positive influence on trainging and instruction, democratic style and social support. Furthermore, coach’s coaching thoery knowledge have a positive influence on positive feedback. While coach’s game stratege knowledge have a negative influence on democratic style and coaching theory knowledge and training method knowledge negative influence on autocratic behavior. Also, Coach’s player understanding knowledge have a positive influence on individual attraction to the group-social, coaching thoery knowledge have a positive influence on individual attraction to the group-task and coaching thoery knowledge have a positive influence on group integration-task. While Coach’s player understanding knowledge have a negative influence on group integration-social. These findings provide researcher, coaches and athletes with some evidence that it is important to faster the development of coach’s knowledge to influence the coaching behaviors and the team environment.
