청소년 토요 스포츠 데이: 참여동기, 참여제약, 긍정적인 효과에 대한 내용 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 최근 교육당국이 정책적으로 시행하고 있는 토요 스포츠 데이 실태조사를 위해 참가 청소년들의 참여동기, 참여제약, 긍정적 효과를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 15개 중고등학교 총 673명의 청소년들을 대상으로 참여동기, 참여제약, 긍정적 효과에 대한 설문을 실시한 결과 첫째, 토요 스포츠 데이 참여동기는 흥미, 운동욕구, 즐거움 등이 31.7%로 가장 높았고, 호감운동 14.2%, 학습동기 11%, 사교 9.9%, 건강체력 8.2% 등으로 나타났다. 둘째, 참여제약은 학업영향, 타 활동, 주요타자의 영향 등 시간적 제약이 46.3%로 가장 높았고, 동기부족, 흥미 부족, 희망운동부재, 소질부족 등 참여태도제약이 29.9%, 휴식필요, 피곤함, 나태함 등 신체적 제약이 21.4%, 접근성, 프로그램, 시설미비 등 환경적 제약이 2.4%로 나타났다. 셋째, 참여에 따른 긍정적 효과는 체력향상과 건강, 다이어트와 키성장, 몸매관리 등 신체적 혜택이 43.5%로 가장 높았다. 본 연구는 토요 스포츠 데이 프로그램에 대한 동기, 제약, 효과적 측면에 대한 고찰 및 개선은 청소년들이 직면하고 있는 정신적ㆍ행동적 측면에 대한 근본적인 대안이 될 것이라고 본다.

The purpose of this study is to explore participation motivation, participation constraint, and positive effect of adolescents who participate, for surveying the actual status of Saturday Sports Day that is being enforced politically these days by the educational authorities. Data were collected by targeting totally 673 adolescents of 15 middle and high schools. Specifically, the intrinsic motivation such as interest, exercise needs, and enjoyment was the highest with 31.7%. Second, The time constraint such as schoolwork influence, other activity, and main person's influence was the highest with 46.3%. Third, The physical benefit such as fitness improvement & health, diet & height growth, and body shape management was the highest with 43.5%. Based on this, a suggestion was made about the operation of Saturday Sports Day program, which is being enforced now, and about the future improvement direction.
