Abstract
본 연구는 보육현장에 종사하는 영아교사의 정서노동과 교사-영아 상호작용의 관계를 살펴보고 정서지능의 조절효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울시, 경기도에 소재한 어린이집, 영아교사 269명이다. 연구도구로는 영아교사의 일반적 특성 묻는 설문(8문항), 2005년 Gilstrap의 연구에 사용된 ELS(Emotional Labor Scale)도구를 이진화(2007)가 수정, 번안한 것을 사용한 정서노동 도구, 그리고 2002년 Wong과 Law가 개발한 WLEIS(Wong and Law Emotional Inteligence Scale)도구를 2011년 박복매가 수정한 정서지능 도구를 사용하였다. 교사-영아 상호작용은 2010년 천현정이 개발한 도구가 사용되었다. 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아교사의 정서노동과 교사-영아의 상호작용의 변인들 간의 상관관계분석을 실시한 결과 영아교사의 정서노동과 교사-영아의 상호작용에 정적인 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 영아교사의 정서지능과 교사-영아의 상호작용의 변인들 간의 상관관계분석을 실시한 결과 영아교사의 정서지능과 교사-영아의 상호작용에 정적인 상관관계를 나타냈다. 셋째, 영아교사의 정서노동과 교사-영아 상호작용의 관계에서 정서지능의 조절효과는 정서지능의 하위요인은 모두 정적인 조절효과를 나타냈으며, 정서지능 전체도 정적인 조절효과를 나타냈다.
The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between infant teachers’ emotional labor and interaction between teachers and infant and to find any moderating influence of emotional intelligence. The research participants consist of 269 infant teachers in child-care center working in Seoul and Gyeong-gi Province. For emotional labor, the research tool used in this study is the ELS(Emotional Labor Scale), developed by Gilstrap in 2005 and modified by Lee Jin-hwa in 2007. For emotional intelligence, the research tool used here is WLEIS(Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale), developed by Wong & Law in 2002 and modified by Park bok-mae in 2011. For the interacation between teacher and infant, the research tool used here was developed by Cheon hyeon-jeong in 2010. To examine the correlations and influence between emotional labor/intelligence and teacher-infant interaction, the study used the pearson’s correlation analysis. Moreover hierarchical analysis was used to analyze effects of controlling emotional intelligence on relation between emotional intelligence and teacher-infant interaction. Research findings are as follows: First, a correlation analysis is carried out to examine the relations between an infant teacher's emotional labor and the variables of interaction between teachers and infant. It is found that an infant teacher's emotional labor has positive correlations with the interaction between teacher and infant. Second, a correlation analysis is carried out to examine the relations between an infant teacher's emotional intelligence and the variables of interaction between teacher and infant. It is found that an infant teacher's emotional intelligene has positive correlations with the interaction between teacher and infant. Third, looking for sub-sections of emotional intelligence in its control effect on the relation between the emotional labor of an infant teacher and teacher-infant interaction, the study found a positive control effect. Also showing a positive control effect was total emotional intelligence.
