Rasch 측정모형을 이용한 Raven Advanced Progressive Matrices 지능검사의 타당화

Abstract

이 연구는 Spearman의 ‘g’요인에 기초해서 Raven이 개발한 APM 지능 검사를 가지고 일차원성을 가정하는 Rasch 측정모형을 적용하여 검사의 차원성 검증 및 개별문항에 대한 타당도 분석을 시도 하였다. 타당도 분석은 Messick의 타당도 분석틀을 적용 하였다. 4년제 4개 대학 755명의 학부 학생들을 대상으로 36문항으로 구성된 APM 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 문항 적합도 분석을 실시한 결과 대부분의 문항이 양호한 적합도 지수 값을 보여 주었으며, 요인구조 분석결과는 APM 지능검사의 일차원성을 지지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 문항내적 일관성 신뢰도 계수 역시 양호한 값을 보여 주었으며, 성별에 따른 차별기능 문항 분석에서, 일부 문항이 차별적으로 기능하고 있는 것으로 나타났지만, 검사 차원에서 성별 간에 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다.

This study aims to examine the validation of scores for Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices using Rasch measurement model. Especially, this study investigates the validity of items within the framework of the content, substantive, structural, and generalizability aspects of validity as described by Messick(1995). The participants were 755 undergraduate students from several educational classes at a large private university. The results reveal that item-fit statistics and principal component analysis with standardized residuals provide evidence of APM's unidimnesionality. Three out of 36 items displayed differential item functioning for gender. A number of issues concerning dimensionality were discussed.
