국내·외 유아 신체활동 가이드라인 비교 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 국내⋅외 유아 신체활동 가이드라인 조사를 바탕으로 항목과 내용을 비교⋅분석하여, 새로운 가이드라인 및 지침 개발 시 기초 연구 자료로 활용되는 것을 목적으로 하다. WHO와 한국을 포함한 8개국의 유아 신체활동 가이드라인을 분석한 결과 대부분의 가이드라인은 대상연령, 빈도/주, 시간/일, 신체활동 종류, 강도를 기준으로 제시하고 있고, 좌식 시간(Screen time)제한/일을 포함하고 있기도 하다. 명칭은 Guideline 또는 Recommendation을 사용하고 있으며, 신체활동 빈도는 매일 하는 것으로 모든 가이드라인에서 제시하고 있다. 시간은 60분 이상에서 최대 180분 이상까지 각 나라별로 상이하게 제시되어 있고, 좌식시간(screen time) 제한 시간은 국내에서는 120분, 국외에서는 60분 이하 또는 최소화로 제시하고 있다. 분석 결과 가이드라인에서 제시하고 있는 기준이 통일되어 있지 않은 것으로 나타나, 국내에서는 한국의 유아들을 대상으로 한 충분한 연구를 바탕으로 한 신체활동 가이드라인 개발이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the physical activity guideline for early-childhood of domestic and overseas to use it as a basic research data in the development of new guideline. According to the analysis of the physical activity guidelines of 8 countries including WHO and Korea, most of the guidelines are based on the age, frequency/week, time/day, types of physical activity, and intensity. Some of them suggest the limitation of the screen time. ‘Guideline’ or ‘Recommendation’ is used as a name, and the frequency of physical activity is presented daily in all guidelines. The time varies among countries from 60 minutes to 180 minutes, and the limitation of screen time varies from 120 minutes in Korea to 60 minutes or less in other countries. As the analysis shows that the criteria presented in the guidelines are not standardized, physical activity guidelines for early-childhood in Korea is need to be developed based on sufficient research on Korean children.
