유비쿼터스 공간의 경제와 경영 전략

Abstract

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 혁명은 기능적 향상을 뛰어넘어 구조적인 변화를 몰고 올 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅이 가져올 구조적 변화를 공간의 차원에서 조망한다. 먼저 유비쿼터스 혁명의 공간적 의미를 탐구함으로써, 유비쿼터스 혁명이 가져올 경제 메커니즘의 변화를 살펴보고, 어떠한 경영 전략이 요구될 것인지 그리고 어떠한 사회적 문제가 제기될 것인지를 논의한다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 혁명으로 인하여 정보화 시대의 네트워크 경제와는다른 양상의 공간적 변화가 초래되며, 이렇게 변화된 공간 구조속에서 공간재화(space goods)의 역할이 증대될 것이라는 점을 강조한다. 마지막으로 유비쿼터스 공간 상에서 발생될 수 있는 공간적 격차의 문제점에 관하여 논의한다.

The revolutionary ubiquitous computing is predicted to bring structural changes in the future. This paper explores into the spatial meanings of the ubiquitous computing and ubiquitous networking, their consequences in the future economic mechanism, and the strategies required for successful management in the ubiquitous spaces. This paper discusses the spatial changes in the ubiquitous economy and the increasing role of space goods. In the last, this paper discusses the social problems that will be resulted by space divided instead of information divided in the ubiquitous age.
