- Abstract
- As a variety of social conflicts increase in the Korean society, the alternative dispute resolution(ADR) movement has recognized the limitations of formal adjudication and has tried to employ diverse mechanisms or techniques including arbitration and mediation through which conflicts may be resolved or settled. This study compared administrative ADR systems established in the Korean government to settle diverse social disputes and conflicts. Based on the results, this study made important suggestions to improve the current ADR systems.
