Abstract
This paper describes how we can control the level of difficulty in a game based on a user's skill. In order to solve this problem, we propose dynamic difficulty controlling game system (DDCGS). We use modified genetic algorithm and Factor of Difficulty Control in a game (FDC) as chromosomes and Factor of User's Adaptation to a game (FUA) as fitness in the genetic algorithm. Then we prove propriety of DDCGS in our experiments and conclusion. © 2007 IEEE.
