구조방정식 모형을 이용한 집단 간 요인구조 비교성 검증

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 구조 방정식 모형을 이용한 집단간 요인구조 분석의 방법으로서 다집단 요인분석의 개념 및 절차를 소개하고 실제 자료를 가지고 적용함으로써 발생하는 경험적 결과의 타당성을 논의하고자 한다. 분석에 사용된 자료는 『성인용 직업적성검사의 다집단 요인분석』 (설현수, 2001b)연구에서 사용된 자료를 가지고 후속연구 차원에서 두 집단(지필 vs. 컴퓨터)간의 구조 동일성, 측정 동일성, 절편 동일성 검증을 수행하였다. 분석 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 설정한 5요인구조모형에 대한 각 집단별 모형 적합도 검증결과 양 집단 모두 5요인 구조모형이 성립되었다. 둘째, 개별모형 분석결과에서 컴퓨터 검사의 확인적 요인 분석 결과, '사고 유창성'과 '기호쓰기' 측정 변수는 '유창력 및 협응능력' 요인에 의해 통계적으로 유의미하게 영향을 받고 있지 않는 것으로 나타났지만, 지필·컴퓨터 검사의 다집단 요인분석 결과, 전체적으로 집단간의 완전측정 동일성이 성립되었으며 각 요인계수에 대한 동일화 제약 검사 결과 '기호쓰기' 측정변수의 요인계수 값만이 집단간에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 5요인에 대한 잠재 평균 비교 분석 결과 '수리력 및 추리력' 요인을 제외한 나머지 4요인이 통계적으로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, '공간지각력 및 기계능력', '지각력 및 집중력'요인은 지필 검사평균값이 높았으며, '언어력' 및 '유창력 및 협응능력'요인은 컴퓨터 검사 평균값이 높게 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to introduce the basic concepts associated with multi-group factor analysis and testing for factorial validity and invariance between paper and computer job aptitude battery developed by Ministry of Labor by using structural equation modeling. The three testing methods examined were: configural invariance, metric invariance, scalar invariance testing. The first test was made for configural invariance, based on the assumption that similar factor structure would be existing for the two groups. The result shows that job aptitude battery has the same factor configuration between paper and computer test. The next step was to test full metric invariance by constraining the factor loadings to be invariant between paper and computer test and result show that full metric invariance was estabilished. Full scalar invariance testing was also conducted to illuminate measurement intercepts are equal for the two groups and suggestions were made for further studies.
