표집의 설계에 따른 표준오차 비교 분석 연구

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 표준오차의 관점에서 표집설계를 반영한 반복표집 방법과 단순무선 표집의 가정에 기초를 둔 전통적 방법을 실제자료를 가지고 비교․분석하는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구목적에 따라 수행된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 단순무선 표집의 가정에 기초를 둔 전통적 방법이 표집설계를 반영한 반복표집 방법에 비해 표준오차를 과소추정 하 는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 반분표본설정 방식에 따라 회귀계수의 표준오차가 상당히 다른 값으로 산출되었으며, 그 결과 회귀변수의 유의성 판정에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purposes of this study were to illustrate the mismatch between replicated sampling and traditional analytic model based on simple random sampling, in terms of standard error and to compare traditional analytic model and replicated sampling by using empirical data. The major findings were as follows; First, ignoring the sample design led to biased and misleading estimates of the standard error. In other words, ignoring the sample design resulted in substantially underestimating the standard error. Second, it appeared that the standard errors of unstandardized regression coefficients were substantially different by way of dividing units in each stratum into two random groups. Finally, Special methods and softwares were recommended to avoid biases that arise when statistical software assumes the data are independent and identically distributed.
