- Abstract
- In this work, 0.62Bi(Mg0.5Ti0.5)O-3-0.38PbTiO(3) ceramics were prepared by the conventional sintering process at sintering temperatures in the range of 975-1025 degrees C, and their crystalline and structural properties were analyzed. X-ray diffraction pattern analysis revealed an optimal sintering temperature of 1000 degrees C. Near the optimized sintering temperature range, pyrochlore phase was observed, and the ceramics exhibited a perovskite structure. Scanning electron microscopy images confirmed that the 0.62Bi(Mg0.5Ti0.5)O-3-0.38PbTiO(3) ceramics were well sintered with high density. Frequency-dependent dielectric properties were also measured from 100 Hz to 10 MHz. A high relative dielectric permittivity of similar to 550 was observed at 100 Hz for 0.62Bi(Mg0.5Ti0.5)O-3-0.38PbTiO(3) ceramics sintered at 1000 degrees C.
