- Abstract
- The roof cladding of buildings requires measurement of the 'screw pull-out' by typhoons that can cause casualties and property damage. From this study, we increased the pull-out resistance was increased by increasing the penetration depth of the ironware installation screw, called an 'nut insert', on the roof cladding frame. We conducted a tensile test to compare the pull-out strengths of a general screw joint and a nut insert joint. Actual roof cladding to be used was produced in the field using the 'Solid Work' analysis program, then compared the roof claddings using a general screw joint and a nut insert joint by a static test and dynamic test.
