〈카〉의 트랜스미디어 스토리월드 구축 전략 연구 - Disney+ PIXAR 채널을 중심으로

Abstract

본고는 Disney+ PIXAR 채널의 트랜스미디어 스토리월드 구축 전략을규명하기 위한 것이다. 그 대표적인 사례로 <카>의 트랜스미디어 스토리월드의 구축 전략에 주목하였다. <카>의 트랜스미디어 스토리월드의 구축 전략에는 세 가지가 있다. 첫째, <카>의 장편 애니메이션은 주로 서사 구조, 캐릭터 관계성, 서사 전개 등 측면을 통해 중심 서사가 연결되며 <카>의 트랜스미디어 스토리월드의 핵심을 이룬다. 둘째, 단편 애니메이션을 기반으로 다양한 향유 요소들을 창출하고 잠재적으로 새로운콘텐츠로 발전할 수 있는 가능성을 지닌다. 셋째, Disney+를 통해 데이터베이스 소비가 가능하고, 이를 바탕으로 오리지널은 캐릭터와 향유 요소를 통해 장편 애니메이션, 단편 애니메이션과 연결되며 Disney+는 트랜스미디어 스토리월드 장으로 기능한다.

This article aims to clarify the transmedia storyword building strategy of Disney+ PIXAR channel. As a representative case, this article focus on the transmedia storyword building strategy of <Cars>. The transmedia storyword building strategy of <Cars> is divided into the following three points. First, feature-length animations of <Cars> are mainly connected to the central narrative through aspects such as narrative structure, character relationship, and narrative development, and forms the core of transmedia storyworld of <Cars>. Second, it has the potential to create various enjoyable elements based on short animations and potentially develop into new contents. Third, database consumption is possible through Disney+, and based on it, the original is connected to the feature-length animations and short animations through characters and enjoyment elements, and Disney+ functions as a transmedia storyworld field.
