- Abstract
- In this paper, considering the porosity of the MI cable insulation, the mass flow and pressure behavior in the radial direction were simulated based on the Darcy's law. In addition, the electric field analysis was performed to understand the field characteristics according to the load changes. The results of the analysis indicate that the cavity formation point is likely to be exposed to high electric field based on the concentrated field near the conductor relatively low-pressure during load switching. © 2023 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
