Abstract
The paper presents how to extract bone lengths from the captured MRI data, ultimately, to determine the design parameters for prosthetic forearm. The original hone lengths of the lost arm are estimated from the MRI data regarding the living arm at opposite side. In detail a right forearm amputee participates in the experiment and the MRI data regarding his left forearm are used to determine the design parameters.
