Abstract
본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 초등학습자에게 적합한 자기주도학습능력 검사도구를 검토하고, 이를 수정하여 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 첫째, 관련 문헌 및 선행연구를 검토하여 보편적으로 가장 많이 활용되는 자기주도학습능력 측정도구인 Guglielmino(1977)의 SDLRS(Self-Directed Learning Readiness Scale)를 기본 틀로 선정하였다. 둘째, 한국 성인 대상으로 수정한 김지자 외(1996)의 SDLRS-K-96에서 제시한 구성요인을 바탕으로 초등학습자용으로 재구성하였다. 먼저 문항수를 40개로 축소하고 문항을 초등학습자에게 적합한 표현으로 수정한 후, 원문해석을 우리나라 상황과 아동의 이해력에 맞게 바꾸었다. 셋째, 전문검토위원의 내용 타당도의 검토를 거쳐 완성된 검사지 SDLRS- KE-2010를 462명의 초등 4, 6학년생을 대상으로 검사를 시행하여 요인분석과 신뢰도 검사를 하였다. 이러한 연구결과, 9개의 요인군이 드러났으며, 검사도구의 신뢰도는 .91로 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과가 앞으로 후속연구에서 보다 문항신뢰도를 높이고 더욱 다양한 집단의 표집을 통하여 개선되어, 교육과정, 개별학습 진단 등 여러 다른 분야에서 유용하게 활용되기를 기대한다.
The purpose of this study is to modify a measurement tool for self-directed learning readiness of Korean elementary school students. To achieve this goal,first of all, this study extensively reviews the literature: measurement tools and related researches in both Korea and other countries. This study attends to Guglielmino's Self-Directed Learning Readiness Scale (1977) as one of the most commonly used tool for last three decades. Thus, SDLRS was selected and modified so that it fits korean contexts and target learners' age level. Newly translated, rephrased, reduced questionnaire were rearranged and categorized in the framework of SDLRS-K-96 suggested by Kim et al.'s(1996) which provides seven construct factors of SDLR. Four reviewers examined the content validity and appropriateness of the new questionnaire, SDLRS-KE-2010. Finally, 426fourth and six grade of elementary school students were tested on their self-directed learning ability by SDLRS-KE-2010. From the factor analysis, data of self-directed learning readiness constructed nine factors in 40 items: Love of learning, Confidence of learning, Creativity, Self-reflection as a learner, Tolerance,Independence, Inquisitive nature, Future orientation. The reliability of the test was .91 (Cronbach-a). It is hoped that future studies in this area should explore further to find out the reasons of the results with more data from various groups and to suggest pedagogical implications in diagnosing individual learners, designing curriculums and also pointing out the problems of current instructions.
