전계흡수 변조기의 기울기 효율이 광 링크의 최대 RF 파워에 미치는 효과

Abstract

We investigate how the slope efficiency of the electroabsorption modulator (EAM) affects the maximum RF power available from the radio-over-fiber link. By using the large signal analysis, we obtain the maximum RF power of the link from the RF signal distorted by the nonlinearity of the EAM transfer function. We show that the maximum RF power available from the link does not depend on the modulator slope efficiency.
